Three area volleyball teams will hit the court this evening in Wapello for a tournament.

Washington, Columbus Community, and Keota will make the trip along with Central Lee, English Valleys, Burlington Notre Dame, Wilton, and the host Arrows. The Demons are 1-4 and coming off of a Grinnell tournament where they swept East Marshall but fell to West Liberty, Carlisle, and Grinnell. Addison Six led the Demons on the day with 16 kills and 14 digs, Alexa Mitchell with 33 assists, and Kaitlyn Mitchell being successful on 20 of 21 serves. Columbus has been off since last Monday when they lost three at the WACO tournament. Kayla Beenen has seven kills, Taylor Howell 19 assists, and Emma Milder 22 digs. Keota dropped a pair in a home triangular last week and Addison Swanson had nine kills, Macie McDonald eight assists, and Jaime Schulte six digs.

The action gets started at 4 p.m. this evening in Wapello.
