Mid-Prairie junior Brad Tornow continues to rake in the awards from his great season on the diamond this summer. Tornow was named first team all-southeast district by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association. Tornow put together a stellar season on the hill for the Hawks with a perfect 7-0 record and a microscopic 1.02 ERA. His 102 strikeouts led the River Valley Conference and were fourth most in class 2A. For good measure, Tornow hit .417 at the plate, sixth best in the RVC with 43 total hits, 32 runs scored and 12 RBI. The Golden Hawks finished with an 18-12 overall record.
