Four seats on the Washington Community School Board will be on the ballot this fall. The four seats are currently held by Eric Turner, Troy Suchan, Sonia Leyva, and Stephanie Ellingson. Ellingson said she will not be on the ballot, “So I’m not planning on running again. So, 11 years, I mean nothing compared to these two but,11 good years, yes.” Those interested in running must collect signatures and file them with the School District by September 19th. With new legislation in place, the school board elections will be held at the same time as the city elections – November 5th.
