When the new school year rolls around in a few weeks Washington High School students will have a unique opportunity to join a Tae Kwon Do Club.
Tae Kwon Do is defined as a Korean martial art that enhances spirit and life through training the body and mind. The club will begin on Monday, August 26th from 4-5 p.m. at the Lincoln Gymnasium/Cafeteria. Mr. Tanner Wenger will teach classes on Monday and Thursday afternoons. He is a Lincoln Behavior Strategies Teacher and is a fifth degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. The first couple weeks of classes will be on the basics of the sport.
