A National Emergency Alert Test will be broadcast on KCII this Wednesday. The Federal Emergency Management Agency is issuing the 2019 National Periodic Test at 1:20 p.m. The test uses the national public warning system with broadcasters, like KCII Radio, to review the system and make sure it is working properly. This is especially important in the event that internet services are not available during an emergency. If there is inclement weather this Wednesday, the backup date is August 21st.
