The Lone Tree offense picked a good time to get on a roll, as they peppered 19 hits on Tuesday en route to a 10-6 district baseball semifinal victory over Midland.

The Lions scored in each of the first three innings to build a 6-3 lead. They got some separation in the sixth plating three runs and one more in the seventh to put the game out of reach. Every batter recorded a hit led by Tyler Bell going 4-for-4 with three runs scored and one RBI. Cale Yoder and Avery Knock each added three hits. Knock was credited with the win going 4 2/3 innings on the bump giving up two earned runs on three hits.

The Lions improve to 13-11 and advance to a class 1A district title game on Saturday against Calamus-Wheatland (32-3).
