The Alliant Energy Foundation has presented seven area nonprofit organizations with community grants. Shelter House Community Shelter and Transition Services received $1,500 for coordinated entry and outreach in Washington County. The Fairfield Public Library was given $1,500 for the summer reading program. These grants are among 145 the Alliant Energy Foundation awarded this grant cycle, totaling over $408,000.
