A semi overturned near Mt. Pleasant on Highway 34.

According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, just after 8 p.m. Tuesday they received a call of a single-vehicle accident on Highway 34 east of the Westwood exit. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a semi-trailer operated by Yuriy Fishman overturned, blocking eastbound traffic. Fishman was cited for failure to maintain control. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol assisted at the scene. There were no injuries.
