After a brief two game losing skid, the Keota baseball team got back to their winning ways Monday beating Belle Plaine 5-4 in unique walk-off fashion.

The Eagles led 4-1 heading into the final inning when the Plainsmen put up a three spot to tie it up. The Eagles threatened in the bottom half with runners at the corners with dangerous Colton Clarahan at the dish. Austin Waterhouse stole second that caused the pitcher to flinch and the rare walk-off balk plated Carson Sprouse for the game-winner. Clarahan went 4 2/3 innings on the bump of one run ball and Sprouse picked up the win retiring all three batters he faced. Waterhouse went 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs knocked in.

Keota improves to 9-3 and they travel to English Valleys this evening.
