The Iowa Mennonite School softball team fell in a Southeast Iowa Superconference crossover game Friday when they were beaten by Central Lee 13-1. IMS took a 1-0 lead with a single run in the bottom of the third but the Hawks scored 13 unanswered down the stretch including seven runs in the sixth to put the game away. Suzanna Yoder, Rubye Ney and Mia Graber each had one hit. Leah Bontrager took the loss in the circle going all six innings giving up 10 hits, 13 runs, walking four and striking out three. IMS is now 0-12 on the year.
