In a battle for the top spot in the South Iowa Cedar League, the undefeated HLV baseball team proved to be too much for Keota on Wednesday night with the Eagles falling 15-1.

The Warrior offense got going early plating seven runs in the first and scoring in every inning en route to the shortened five inning game. The one Eagle run came in the third on a RBI hit from Brady Duwa, who finished 2-for-2 at the dish. Colton Clarahan took the loss on the bump giving up 11 runs but only two were earned.

Keota falls to 8-2 on the season and HLV stays perfect at 13-0. The Eagles close the week tomorrow at North Mahaska.
