Fresh off of a doubleheader split at Fort Madison on Tuesday, the Washington baseball team will have another crack at the Bloodhounds tonight welcoming them to town for a pair of Southeast Conference games.

The Demons beat the Bloodhounds 10-4 in game one on Tuesday before falling in game two 9-1. Mitchell Driscoll picked up a win on the mound going 2 1/3 innings giving up two runs on five hits and striking out five. Cade Hennigan had a big night at the plate going 5-for-8 with two runs scored and one RBI. The Demons could not crack the code of Fort Madison pitcher Dayne Cordray in the nightcap, as he threw a complete game three hitter giving up just one run. Jordyn Gerdes leads them at the plate with a .382 batting average on the season.
