The Iowa Mennonite softball team travels to Montezuma Tuesday looking for their first win of the year when they take on the Bravettes. IMS is 0-7 on the year after an 8-2 loss to Highland in a game where they led 2-0 in the fifth. Suzanna Yoder was one for four in the loss, driving in two. On the season, IMS is hitting .215 on the season, led by Rubye Ney and her .412 average. In the circle they have a team ERA of 9.94 with Leah Bontrager working 35 innings so far this year with a 10.40 ERA.

Montezuma has a 4-9 overall record. Dropping their game with Sigourney 9-1 on Monday. The Bravettes are hitting .197 as a team, led by Carissa VanZee with a .308 average. In the circle, Montezuma is pitching at a 7.09 team ERA. The Bravettes are led by Kallie Robison with 64 innings of work with a 6.93 ERA. These two teams met in 2017 with Montezuma taking an 11-3 win.
