The Columbus Wildcat softball team scored their second win of the season in exciting fashion Thursday beating IMS 7-6. The contest was back and forth early with IMS scoring twice in the top of the first only to see Columbus put up a three spot in the bottom half to go up 3-2. Iowa Mennonite countered with three more in the top of the second and Columbus responded with one in the bottom to leave the score at 5-4 in favor of IMS through two. IMS added another run in the fourth for a 6-4 lead. Columbus began their comeback with a pair of runs in the fifth and finished it with a one run walk off in the seventh. IMS was led on the night by Suzanna Yoder who was three for four with a double, triple, home run and two driven in. Rubye Ney also finished three for four with an RBI. With the win, Columbus is now 2-7 on the season, IMS falls to 0-6.
