A man was arrested after causing a scene at a 2A high school regional golf tournament in Kalona Monday. According to the Washington County Communications Office, a deputy was requested at the Kalona Golf Course at 4:50 p.m. A man had been drinking and those present didn’t think he should drive. Then 51-year-old Phillip Earl Ray of Norwalk got on a golf cart with other people’s equipment and drove away on the course. Authorities arrested Ray for public intoxication. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
