columbus-logo3-2

In a makeup game from earlier in the week the Columbus Community boys’ soccer team earned area bragging rights defeating Washington 2-0 on Saturday.

The Wildcats did all of their damage early, as Felix Solis scored in the game’s first and ninth minute. Luis Guerrero and Angel Hernandez had the assists for Columbus. Keagan Atkinson notched up seven saves in goal to preserve the win. The Wildcats improve to 4-6 on the year and welcome Highland to town tomorrow. Washington drops to 2-7 and they host Fort Madison this evening.
