The Kewash Trail will be full of runners this Saturday. The annual Kewash Half Marathon begins at 8 a.m. in downtown Washington. Runners will run half the distance out on the Kewash Trail and then turn back around to complete the rest of the 13.1 miles. There will also be options to run a 10k or 5k. The finish line will be in front of JP’s 207 on West Main Street. Prizes will be awarded for the overall male and female winners. If the overall winners of the half marathon set new course records they’ll be awarded $1,000. The course record for men is 1:13:07 and for women it is 1:25:05. You can register online in advance or the day of the event when it will be $70 for the half marathon, $40 for the 10K, and $30 for the 5k.
