The Washington girls track team finished fourth out of nine teams at their home invite on Thursday.

The Demons tallied 65 points while Solon took home the hardware with 132. Second place finishes on the day included Ashley Telleen in the 400m hurdles (1:15.19), Kelsey Pacha in the 100m hurdles (17.17) and long jump (16’0.5’’), the 4x100m relay team of Addison Six, Emma Herr, Jenna Messer, and Samantha Miller (1:08.50), the 4x200m relay of Isabel Bailey, Leah Marek, Olivia Marek, and Telleen (1:55.11), and the sprint medley including Pacha, Telleen, Leah Marek, and Jenah Greiner (1:59.77). Other top finishes included Bailey fourth in the 100m (13.68) and long jump (15’0.5’’), Greiner fourth in the 200m (27.61), and Elyse Hunt fourth in the 400m (1:11.40).

The Demons will compete in a handful of events on Tuesday at Burlington.
