The Iowa Mennonite School girls track team sees their first competition Friday when travel to Pella for the Central College Girls Indoor Invitational.

A season ago, IMS found success with Suzanna Yoder qualifying for the state meet in Des Moines in the 400. She ran a personal best on the blue oval of 1:01.30. This is a group with experience going into 2019, joining Yoder as returners are Mackenzie Gutierrez, Ava Hughes, Ainsley Shaw, and Sarann Durflinger. New faces include Leah Bontrager, Esther Hughes, Sarah Miller and Malia Sedlacek. Action begins today at noon and continues into the evening in Pella.
