An early resignation incentive will be discussed at Monday’s Mid-Prairie School Board meeting. In February, Superintendent Mark Schneider said he would like to give teachers a bonus for turning in their notice sooner so the school can start the replacement process as soon as possible.

The policy that includes a $1,000 bonus if they submit their notice by April 1st, and a $500 bonus if they notify the district before April 30th passed on the first reading. For the policy to go into effect the board will need to pass the second reading Monday. Also on the agenda is a discussion about adding another full-time TLC employee. The work session will begin at 6:15 p.m. Monday at the Central Office Community Room.
