The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team begins their postseason road tonight when they host West Burlington in the first round of district play. 

The Golden Hawks come into the game with an overall record of 10-10 after a 61-58 loss to Durant on Saturday. On the season the Golden Hawks are led by Cale Robertson at 14 points per game, eighth in the River Valley Conference. Tom Butters leads class 2A with 243 rebounds while Brad Tornow is eighth in the state with 104 assists.

West Burlington enters play with an overall record of 9-9, last time out the Falcons fell to Burlington Notre Dame 65-48. On the season West Burlington is led by Colten Sherwood at 11 points per game. Darian Johnson has the team lead with 48 assists and Marvion Jackson leads the Falcons with 94 rebounds.
