The Washington bowling team went down to Keokuk on Friday afternoon for the Southeast Conference bowling meet, with both teams taking fourth place.

The Demon boys took fourth with an overall score of 1,264, but that score came from just two bowlers, Riley Lambert and Ethan Zieglowsky.  Both guys had great individual scores, Zieglowsky taking third bowling a 444 across two games, and Riley Lambert bowled a 481 across two games a first place in the conference.

The girls also took fourth place with an overall team score of 1,808.  Two bowlers finished in the top ten in individual scores, with Dawson Schluetter taking eighth and Taylor Northup taking 10th.  Taylor Janecek and Rylie Swart were right outside the top 10, tying for 11th place.

Their next action comes on Tuesday when they head up to May City Bowl in Cedar Rapids for the state qualifying meet.  Competition will begin at 10:10 a.m.
