Cold temperatures and dark evenings can take the motivation out of anyone, but it’s important to stay active during the winter months. he recent temperatures have made it unsafe to be outside, but Turner says you can remain active from the comfort of your home, “There’s plenty of things people can do in their home. They can do different exercises just with day-to-day activities in their house, such as standing up and down out of a chair or going up down steps multiple times.” Turner describes these as “purposeful” movements that one might not incorporate in their daily routine.
