The Mid-Prairie School District is now accepting bid submissions for two new diesel school buses. At Monday’s school board meeting the board approved the specifications for two new school buses, which now allows them to begin receiving bid submissions. The district is looking to replace two diesel buses in their fleet with buses that can fit up to 71 people. Superintendent Mark Schneider says typically school buses can cost around $100,000.
