Fairfield is one of the eight Iowa cities chosen to host an overnight stay during RAGBRAI.

The route for the 2019 Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa was announced over the weekend. The ride will kick off in Council Bluffs and make stops in Atlantic, Winterset, Indianola, Centerville, Fairfield and Burlington before finishing at the Mississippi River in Keokuk.

This will be the fifth overnight stay Fairfield has hosted, the city’s first since 2013.
