The Washington girls’ team headed up to Cedar Rapids to make up a snow-out against CR Washington, getting blown out by the seventh-ranked Warriors 76-22.

It was all CRW from the start, with the Demons going down 31-8 after the first quarter.  The score was 46-15 at halftime, and there would be no coming back.  The Demons never broke double-digit point totals in any given quarter, including a two-point performance in the fourth.

Isabel Bailey led the way offensively with eight points, while Kira Ropp was behind her with six.  Only five points came from outside the starting lineup, with Halle Leyden hitting a two and a three off the bench.

The next action for the Washington girls comes on Thursday when they head to Burlington to take on Notre Dame.  Tip-off in Burlington is set for 7:30.
