After routing Iowa City Liberty at home a week ago, the Demons are raring and reading to go against West Liberty tonight for their homecoming game.

Both teams come into tonight sitting at 1-2, and both teams earned their first win last week.  Both teams are also led offensively by their dual-threat quarterbacks, Seth Feldman and Luke Turner.  As evenly matched as these teams appear on paper, head coach James Harris says his guys will have to bring their A game.

“We’ve gotta be doing all the little things throughout the week.  If you’ve been preparing, doing your due diligence, you show up ready to play,” Harris said.

“Not to get too many cliches, but another thing we say is ‘you don’t shine under the bright lights; the bright lights reveal what you were doing in the dark all week’, so [we’re] working really, really hard and trying to get after it.”

You can catch live coverage of tonight’s game on FM 106.1 starting with the Washington HyVee Pregame Show at 7, with a 7:30 kickoff.
