An investigation into a report of a stolen vehicle resulted in two arrests Tuesday in Washington.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., an officer checking on a stolen vehicle arrested Wade Donovan Patterson, 33, of Oakville. Patterson is a wanted subject from Louisa County for operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent. As the investigation was being conducted, Samantha Nicole Wheeler, 29, of Washington ran from the scene. She was charged with interference with official acts. She was wanted by Louisa County for driving while license suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia, false report, theft 2nd degree, and burglary 3rd degree. She is also wanted by Jefferson County for failure to appear on possession of drug charges.
