The jury at a Washington County trial of a mother charged with child endangerment resulting in death has reached a verdict.

After closing arguments and deliberation Friday, the jury has found that 29-year-old Ambrashia Chrzan of Riverside is guilty of child endangerment resulting in the death of her 17-month-old daughter Avery McCoy. An autopsy showed the cause of Avery’s death in 2016 as undetermined with malnutrition and associated neglect and the manner of death as a homicide.
