The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk and Lone Tree Lady Lion girls golf teams are back on the course Friday when they travel to Marengo for a quadrangular meet with Iowa Valley and HLV.

The Mid-Prairie girls are coming off of a busy start to the week including a 198-211 win over the Wilton Beavers Monday and an eighth place finish at the Linn-Mar Invitational Tuesday at Hunter’s Ridge in Cedar Rapids. Paige Slabaugh was meet medalist for the Hawks in both events, shooting a 47 Monday and a 95 Tuesday. On the year Slabaugh leads the Golden hawks with a 45 average per nine holes. She is followed by Abbi Patterson at 49, Kendra Schaefer at 54 and Georgia Nisly at 57.

The Lone Tree Lady Lions were last on the course Tuesday against Highland and Louisa-Muscatine. Bailey Pierson led the Lions with a 71. On the season Abby Buckman leads Lone Tree with a 62 average, Karli Burr is at 66 and Pierson is at 84.

Iowa Valley is led on the year Caleigh Smith with a 44 average and HLV is paced by Kayla York with a 51 average. Action begins at 4:30 at the Marengo Golf Course.
