The Washington bowling teams faced off with Keokuk over the weekend and the Chiefs walked away with a pair of victories.

In the girls’ matchup the Demons fell to the undefeated Chiefs 2348-1948. Taylor Janecek led the way for the Demons with a two-game score of 290. Rylie Swart had the best individual game out of all Demons with a 190 and finished with an overall score of 282. Other scoring included Trista Kelly with 280, Dawsen Schluetter with 237, Taylor Northup with 234, and Katie Connolly with 229. Baker scores included 103, 119, 123, 152, and 128.The Demons fall to 4-4 after the loss and the Chiefs improve to 4-0.

On the boys’ side the Demons only had three bowlers and fell 2522-1493. Drake Schluetter paced the Demons with a 350 that was the third best score out of all participants. Other Demon scoring included Keaton Zear with 336 and Tucker Renoux with 335. Baker scores included 107, 107, 93, 81, and 84. The Demons fall to 0-8 and Keokuk moves to 4-0.

Washington will welcome Fairfield to town on Saturday.
