The Washington wrestling team already has a regular season Southeast Conference title and they will look to add a conference tournament title to their resume today when they travel to Fairfield.

The Demons capped of their fifth straight regular season title on Tuesday when they beat Mount Pleasant 45-23. The Demons were last in action Thursday for senior night where they split in two duals. The Demons beat Oskaloosa 63-12 and then fell to Williamsburg 46-13. Washington had two wrestlers win both of their contested matches. Dillan Sanders won by a 7-2 decision and a fall at 132 lbs while Tanner Murphy won by a 5-1 decision and fall at 220 lbs. Other winners on the day included Matt Collett at 106 lbs, Justin Simmering at 138 lbs, Kiowa Keith at 152 lbs, Dylan Farmer at 160 lbs, Tristin Westphal-Edwards at 170 lbs, and Mitchell Huisenga at 285 lbs. Westphal-Edwards leads the Demons with a 37-1 record at 170 lbs.

The conference tournament gets started at 10 a.m. this morning at Fairfield High School.
