The Southeast Iowa Ridge Blasters snowmobile club has been preparing its 117 miles of trails to promote safe snowmobiling in the area.

Ridge Blasters President Cody Krueger says there have been signs stolen on the trail alongside Highway 78. Krueger comments on the theft, “Those signs are there for the safety of snowmobilers and the safety of the general public and we’d appreciate if they’d stay in place. If any snowmobilers see any signs missing, [do] not to hesitate to contact the club and we’ll get them replaced.”

The trails maintained by the Southeast Iowa Ridge Blasters extend from Salem to Lake Darling State Park.
