A farm-business program covering a range of topics from production records to farm leasing will be held for women in Washington this month.

Washington County Extension Director Nancy Adrian shares what the class covers, “Annie’s Project is a farm business management class specifically designed for women. It is a six-session class, we meet about three hours per night. It covers a lot of topics that people will find interesting and necessary to know as they deal with a farm business.” This will be the 101st Annie’s Project class held in Iowa, the first was in Washington in 2004. Registration is due this week and it begins meeting January 9th for six weeks 6-9 p.m. The program is $75. To register contact the Washington County Extension Office.
