The Washington football team saw plenty of success en route to a postseason berth in 2017. A big contributor was their ground game that was among the best in the state.

The Demons also topped the district in rushing touchdowns with 36 headlined by Jack Redlinger with 12 and six from Luke Turner. The duo finished in the top three in the district in yards with Redlinger at 918 and Turner managing 833. The Demons have built a powerhouse in the run game as the last two seasons they have been the top rushing team in the district and have amassed over 5,500 rushing yards.
