Mid-Prairie senior quarterback Karson Gingerich wrapped up a successful football career in 2017.

Gingerich ended his time for the Hawks with 14 career touchdown passes, placing him eighth all-time in program history. He threw a career high seven touchdowns during his junior season.

Gingerich finished in eighth place on the all-time passing yards list with 1,493. Despite battling through injuries, his best season was his senior year with 800 yards passing.

Gingerich also finished ninth in Mid-Prairie history with 105 completed passes.

Mid-Prairie finished 2017 with a 3-6 overall record.
