The Lone Tree football team has made two road trips to start the season and have come away with a pair of wins. The Lions took care of business on Friday night defeating Tri-County 67-0.

Contributions came from all over for the Lions as seven players managed to score. Harmon Miller was efficient through the air completing six of his 10 passes for 129 yards and three touchdowns. Keegan Edwards was the beneficiary of a pair of those passes that went for 80 yards and two scores. Bryce Houser added two more touchdowns by carrying the rock eight times for 58 yards. Matthew Selck made the most of his three carries by reaching pay dirt twice on 41 yards. The Lion defense did their job holding Tri-County to 81 yards in the shutout.

With the win the Lions improve to 2-0 on the young season as Tri-County drops to 0-2. The Lions host their season opener on Friday against HLV.
