The Winfield-Mt. Union softball team was represented in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference all-conference teams with Madie Anderson, Hannah Mathews, and Kara Wade receiving the awards.

In just her 8th grade campaign, Anderson received second team honors as a pitcher for the Wolves. She finished her season with a 2.71 ERA in 116 innings of work. Anderson was the only 8th grade ace pitcher for a team in the conference and had the sixth lowest ERA in the league.

Seniors Hannah Mathews and Kara Wade received honorable mentions. Mathews led the team offensively with a .329 batting average and knocked in 17 runs on the year. Wade batted .212 and plated nine runs in the season. She had a keen eye at the plate, leading the team in walks with nine.

WMU finished their season 8-16 and lose Mathews, Wade, and Hannah Buffington to graduation.
