In a stacked Southeast Iowa Super Conference, Columbus Community seniors Shania Boyd and Bailey Stroud received honorable mention for the All-Conference softball awards.

The multi-sport standouts led many offensive categories for the Wildcats. Boyd finished the year with a .300 batting average to lead the team and knocked in 15 RBI. She collected 21 hits on the season including four doubles and a home run. The speedy Stroud was always a threat on the base paths as she led the team in stolen bases with 13 and runs scored in 16. Stroud finished her senior campaign with a .246 batting average and one RBI on the year. The pair has been a great one-two punch in just about every sport they have been a part of through their time at Columbus, as they were also all-conference players in volleyball and basketball.

Columbus finished the softball season with a record of 2-25 and lose Boyd, Stroud, and Jayden Poehler to graduation.
