The Lone Tree boys and girls track teams were in Belle Plaine Monday night for their 2017 Co-ed meet.

The Lone Tree boys finished third out of eight teams with 77 points. Lisbon won the meet with 192 points. The Lions crowned three champions with Niko Gosnell winning the high jump clearing 6’4”, Jovonte Squiers taking the long jump with a leap of 21′ 6.75” and Casey Shalla taking the shot put with a throw of 44′.5”. Other top finishes for the Lions included the 4×200 team of Squiers, Avery Knock, Brock Smith and Drake Hotz second, Shall was second in the discuss, Hotz third in the 200 and Smith third in the 800.

The Lone Tree girls were sixth out of eight teams with 42 points. Top finishes for the Lady Lions included Emily Feldman second in the 100 hurdles, the 4×800 team of Sydney Alt, Natalie Patterson, Karli Burr and Macie Bopp third, and Bopp third in the 1500.
