A former Washington Demon soccer player is continuing her goalkeeping duties in New Hampshire. Stephanie Evans, a 2015 Washington graduate, is in her second season as the starting goalie for the Daniel Webster College women’s soccer team. Evans was named the New England Collegiate Conference’s (NECC) Player of the Week on Monday for a pair of performances last week.

Evans started the week with 14 saves in a 1-0 double overtime loss to Newbury on October 18. She tied her career high with 28 saves in a 1-1 tie against Becker on October 22. The 2015 NECC Goalkeeper of the Year ranks second in school history with 532 career saves, 60 shy of the record. Daniel Webster’s overall record this season sits at 1-12-1.

Evans concluded her high school soccer career with over 200 saves for Washington in the spring of 2015. Daniel Webster is a private school located in Nashua, New Hampshire.
