The Washington County Fair concluded last Friday and now students are looking ahead to other livestock competitions. Area youth wanting to exhibit at Ak-Sar-Ben in Omaha, Nebraska, in September must turn in entry forms and fees by Monday, August 8th. For a link to the forms and rules click here. The forms and fees should be submitted to the Washington County Extension Office. Ak-Sar-Ben is a 4-H stock show and was established in 1928. It also has a rodeo, parade, and a college and career fair.
