Around 9:30 this morning, there was a house fire at 321 West Van Buren Street in Washington. As KCII News reported live from the scene, smoke could be seen coming from the residence, but no flames were visible. The Washington Fire Department, the Washington Police Department, Washington County Ambulance, and Alliant Energy were all on the scene aiding with the fire. No cause is yet known.
