The outdoor track season continues this afternoon for the Washington Demon boys’ and girls’ squads in different locations.

The Demon boys’ track team makes a trip to Henry County, competing in the Mount Pleasant Co-Ed Track Meet. Several eastern Iowa schools will compete in the boys’ meet, including Davenport Assumption, Davenport North, Central Lee, Fairfield, Fort Madison, Iowa City High, Mediapolis, Mount Pleasant, Mid-Prairie, Ottumwa, and West Burlington. Washington opened the competition week in West Burlington on Monday, participating in the Falcon Relays. The Demons finished with 43 team points, the fifth highest among the six-team Class A.
