The deadline has come and gone to be on the ballot for county offices in the June 7th primary. In Washington County, three Republicans are running for the sheriff’s position, they are Kirk Bailey, Ken Miller and Jared Schneider. Dan Widmer is running unopposed for re-election for Washington County Auditor.

In the supervisors races, Jack Seward, Jr. is seeking re-election unopposed for the District 1 seat. District 2 has Republicans Stephanie Schlabaugh and incumbent Bob Yoder seeking the position. District 4 has incumbent Stan Stoops and Robert Shepherd on the Republican side of the ticket seeking the nomination in June, while Kimberly Davis has filed to run as a Democrat for the seat.

State Representative for District 78 Jarad Klein has an opponent in the primary in Marcus Fedler. Dave Heaton has filed to run for re-election for State Representative of District 84, Carrie Duncan is seeking the position on the Democratic side. Also, State Senator Rich Taylor, a Democrat, has filed to run again and Republicans Danny Graber and Ralph Holmstrom will be on the ballot in the June primary.
