The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved a revision to the county’s five-year road program Tuesday morning. Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius explained the added work would use Farm to Market dollars, thanks in part to the additional funds from the increase in the gas tax, for additional patching to paved roads throughout the county. The work would be done on the Crawfordsville cut off G6W, Airport Road south of Washington, W38 the Wellman road and G52, also known as Old White Way. The project will be let through the DOT and the work will be done this construction season.
