Less than 72 hours after seeing each other in the consolation rounds of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference volleyball tournament Saturday in Lone Tree, the WACO Warriors and Columbus Wildcats faced off in SEISC regular season play in Columbus on Tuesday night.

WACO made it two straight over the Wildcats, following up their three game win Saturday with a three game sweep of the Wildcats Tuesday night by scores of 25-22, 25-16 and 26-24.

On the night Columbus was led by Shania Boyd with 13 kills. Kortney Orr dished out 13 assists and Laura Mincks added seven digs. With the loss Columbus falls to 6-19 on the year 1-5 in SEISC play. WACO now stands at 6-13 on the year, and 1-4 in league play after picking up their first conference match win. Next up for WACO is a match Thursday night at IMS. Columbus is off until next Tuesday when they host Highland.
