Today a candidate seeking the Republican presidential nomination is meeting with voters in Washington. Governor of Louisiana Bobby Jindal is stopping in Washington this evening. He was elected governor in 2007 and previously served in Congress, he was first elected in 2004 and reelected in 2006.

According to the national average of Republican Presidential Nomination polling data, Jindal currently has less than half a percent, behind Rick Santorum.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the town hall starts at 6 p.m. at the Washington Pizza Ranch. He will also visit Haines Dairy Farm in Sigourney at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
