As of Thursday, 165 people had voted early in Tuesday’s special election in the Washington Community School District. On Tuesday, polls will be open from noon to 8 p.m. in Washington and Brighton for voters to decide if they’ll approve $2.3 million bonds for the addition of a preschool wing at Stewart Elementary, to replace the Stewart West satellite building. Voters can cast ballots early in the Auditor’s Office until 11 a.m. election day.

The $2.3 million only covers the six preschool classrooms and reconfigure the drop off location, the funds for the childcare center have been donated.
