The No. 7 ranked Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk softball team (9-5) is heading to Davenport for an invitational today.

The Golden Hawks will be taking on the Davenport North (5-7) Wildcats from the Mississippi Athletic conference in Class 4A and the Waterloo West Wahawks (5-5) from the Mississippi Valley in Class 5A.

Mid-Prairie junior Amber Kral has the most runs batted in the River Valley Conference at 26 and leads in slugging percentage at .881. Junior Alex Rath has the second best batting average in the conference at .618.

Games will take place today at the Davenport West High School.
